When it comes to choosing your perfect denim jacket. We must of course consider our budget. Although it is not often something we love to talk about, it obviously needs to be considered. Of course it can feel like a lovely treat to indulge in a luxury item, but it is not always necessary. Many times, you can find pieces that are so similar to your dream item without that hefty price tag.
After you have determined your ideal spending amount, it is time to consider the cut and shape. Do you want a classic feel that will hit at the hips. Or do you want to feel trendy with a cropped style. If you want it to last you the next few years, I would opt for something without a lot of distressing or embroidery because this can easily date a jacket. Go for clean and classic if you don’t want to be repurchasing it anytime soon!
Finally, when you are trying it on, feel the fabric. Is it comfortable and flexible? Do you feel restricted? Does the arm length hit at the right spot? Is it too boxy? Too long? Really take your time analyzing yourself in the mirror and be honest with the shape and fabric.
