Dress: Here Heels: Ann Taylor Hat: Similar, Cheaper
One of my biggest sources of style inspiration are old movies. One of my favorites is High Society starring Grace Kelly. If you have seen the film, you might remember the wedding scene of Grace in her stunning embroidered gown. When I laid eyes on this dress, I immediately thought of her in that movie!
With summer coming to a close in the weeks to come, I knew I wanted to live it up as much as possible before the pumpkin spice lattes and candles start to take over! What a better way to kiss summer goodbye in this stunning dress! While we were shooting this look, I actually had several people compliment how beautiful it was in person. Some dresses make you feel a certain way, and this is one of them.
You seemed to really respond well to my Modern Day Cinderella Dress, so I thought it was time I do another inspired look. I am actually considering making this a series on the blog,” A Modern Day…” I can continue to pick different people or characters and create a look inspired by them with a modern twist.
