3 Must Have Hair Products! Mermaid Hair Review

Is there such a thing as love at first scent? Because when I first smelled these products, I thought I was in heaven! It takes a lot to impress me with a hair product. A lot of them are overpriced for what they do. But throw the name Mermaid on a product, and you bet I will do a double take!

It can be so easy to neglect your hair. We throw it in a messy bun, use extremely high heat, and brush the crap out of it! But you have got to take care of your hair! Especially if you are a gal that colors her hair on the regular. You should use products that will help maintain your color and strength. You wouldn’t put regular gas in a Camaro. So you shouldn’t use crappy products when maintaining your hair color!

If you have been reading my blog recently, you might have noticed that I have been really into using natural beauty products. The skincare line I use is all nature and I have also begun switching my cleaning products and hair products as well.

The first time I heard about Mermaid Hair Products was when I was pursing the beauty section at Urban Outfitters. A lot of the products there are also natural and sulfate free. Sulfates are one of worst ingredients and they are in everything! It is in your body wash, shampoo, face wash, and even your hand soap. It is that ingredient that makes those products lather. But it can also dry your hair and skin out. If I am using a hand soap that has sulfates in it, I notice that my hands get super dry and chapped.

One of the main things that attracted me to this brand was that fact that they are natural and sulfate free! So that means it will not dry your hair out. The Mermaid Shampoo and Conditioner smells amazing with a mixture of orange blossom and coconut. After my shower, I was constantly feeling my hair because it was so soft!

But the first thing that caught my eye was the Shine Spray. I spritzed some of the Shine Spray in my hair while I was at Urban Outfitters and when I laid down to go to sleep that night, I could still smell it in my hair! My husband kept telling me all day how good I smelled!
