It feels so great to be sitting down and writing a blog post finally! Even though my last blog post was on Friday, I hate not getting something up at the beginning go the week. I have gotten into such a habit of getting up three posts a week that it feels unnatural if I do not!
Today’s outfit is such a fun twist on the clueless plaid trend for this fall season. I told you in my The Trend Report: Check Blazers post that I was starting a new series here on the blog where I would be your one stop guide to all the fall trends and styling tricks of the season. In this newest segment, we are chatting all about a trip down memory lane to one of the most beloved movies of the 90s: Clueless.
We are taking many fashion tips from the 1990s this season with denim, band t shirts, and even Cher style. But we can’t even be mad at it because plaid is so chic! I played it on the safe side in this look with a “school girl vibe” but don’t be afraid to mix your plaid coloring. Create a statement look by having a totally different color scheme on the bottom than on the top piece. No need to go as matchy matchy as Cher did in the movie with her yellow plaid matching set.
