I have had a thing for inexpensive bags lately. The bags that I see on Instagram or even at Target are starting to look more and more like their high end designer twin. Starting out with a look a like bag in a designer version you are lusting after can be a great way to see if making the plunge on a high ticket item is something you really want to invest in. Plus with the trends always changing, it can be fun to try out a handbag style at a lower prince point and not feel bad about only carrying it a few times.
One thing that I adore about spring and summer is that the weather is finally appropriate to carry a woven, straw, or rattan handbag. The beauty in the design of these iconic and timeless bags are that you can’t tell if you are carrying high end or low end version! Most of them are made without designer labels. Of course brands like Mark Cross and Prada have their woven bag options, but there are many others on the market that are also cute without that hefty price tag.
